How Euro Parking Services Helped Trent Park to Improve Parking Availability and Create a Safer Environment
Parking at Trent Park is about much more than simply providing spaces. As a destination home to leisure, hospitality and fitness businesses, the car park plays an important role in ensuring visitors enjoy a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
Spread across a 140-acre estate, Trent Park welcomes a large number of visitors every day. The parking facilities managed by Euro Parking Services support five leisure and sporting businesses, with many guests visiting more than one venue during a single trip. However, increasing levels of commuter parking and anti-social behaviour were beginning to affect parking availability and the overall experience for genuine customers.
Recognising the need for a long-term solution, Trent Park explored a number of parking management providers before partnering with Euro Parking Services to develop a system tailored to the needs of the estate, its tenants and its visitors.
The Parking Challenges Facing Trent Park
The parking facilities managed by Euro Parking Services at Trent Park support a collection of popular leisure and sporting destinations, including:
- Trent Park Golf
- Country Club Trent Park
- Fives Football Trent Park
- Jungle Falls Adventure Golf
- Frontline Football
On busy days, around 1,000 vehicles can use the car park, with many visitors moving between different facilities during a single visit.
While this variety contributes to Trent Park’s appeal as a leisure destination, it also presented several parking challenges.
Increasing Levels of Commuter Parking
Vehicles belonging to commuters were increasingly occupying spaces intended for customers, employees and visitors, reducing parking availability during peak periods.
This often made it more difficult for golfers, football players, families and leisure visitors to park conveniently and enjoy the facilities without unnecessary frustration.
Anti-Social Behaviour and Overnight Parking
Alongside commuter parking, anti-social behaviour and vehicles remaining on site overnight were becoming more common.
For a destination centred around sport, recreation and leisure, maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for visitors became an important priority.
Choosing Euro Parking Services
Before making a decision, Trent Park contacted Euro Parking Services and several other parking management companies to better understand the available options and associated costs.
It quickly became apparent that a standard approach would not provide the flexibility required for a destination of this scale and complexity.
Significant time was invested in developing an agreement that reflected how Trent Park operates and considered the needs of the various businesses based on the estate.
Working closely with the management team, Euro Parking Services developed a tailored parking management solution capable of supporting multiple user groups while maintaining a positive experience for visitors.
EPS Bespoke Parking Solutions for Trent Park
Following detailed discussions with Trent Park’s management team, Euro Parking Services introduced a bespoke parking management solution designed specifically for the estate’s unique operational requirements.
ANPR Cameras: ANPR camera was installed at entrance and exit (single point) to accurately record vehicle arrival and departure times, helping to discourage commuter parking, prevent overnight stays and improve parking availability for genuine customers visiting Trent Park Golf, Country Club Trent Park, Fives Football Trent Park, Jungle Falls Adventure Golf and Frontline Football.
The technology also supports a smoother customer journey, allowing visitors to move between the different businesses on site without unnecessary disruption.
Bespoke Signages: To support the introduction of the new parking arrangements, Euro Parking Services designed and installed 15 bespoke signage across the site.
Positioned at key locations throughout the estate, the signage provides visitors with clear guidance on parking arrangements and helps customers become familiar with the process during the transition period.
Flexible User Management: Recognising that Trent Park accommodates a variety of businesses with differing operational requirements, Euro Parking Services configured 7 tablets (visitor exemptions) to support multiple user types.
Several options were introduced to assist with the review process where required, ensuring landlords, tenants and businesses could manage parking activity in a practical and efficient manner.
Adapting the System to Meet Evolving Needs
Introducing a new parking process naturally involved an adjustment period.
During the initial set-up and first few months, additional administration was required while customers became accustomed to entering their vehicle details.
Throughout this period, the Euro Parking Services team remained closely involved, refining processes and adapting the system in response to feedback from Trent Park and its businesses.
Over the past eight months, the solution has continued to evolve, creating a parking management approach that works effectively for landlords, tenants, employees and visitors alike.
Supporting Safer and More Considerate Parking
Alongside improving parking availability, Trent Park also wanted to encourage responsible parking behaviour throughout the estate.
Using a mobile app, authorised personnel can manage vehicles occupying accessible bays without entitlement, parking outside marked bays or obstructing access routes.
These additional capabilities have helped maintain clearer access points, reduce inconsiderate parking and contribute towards creating a safer environment for visitors, staff and businesses.
The Results After Eight Months
Eight months after introducing the new parking management system, Trent Park has seen noticeable improvements across the estate.
More Spaces Available for Customers
The reduction in unauthorised parking and overnight stays has helped free up valuable parking spaces, making it easier for golfers, football players, families and leisure visitors to find parking close to the facilities they are visiting.
A Safer Environment for Visitors and Businesses
Addressing anti-social behaviour and improving parking oversight has contributed to a more welcoming parking infrastructure for customers, tenants and staff.
Ongoing Support from a Dedicated Team
Parking requirements can change over time, particularly at destinations with multiple businesses and high visitor volumes.
Euro Parking Services continues to work closely with Trent Park, ensuring the system evolves alongside operational needs and providing ongoing assistance whenever required.

Client Testimonial
“Due to worsening anti-social behaviour in our car park as well as increasing levels of commuter parking, we took the decision to start managing our car parks more actively and contacted Euro Parking Services and other car park management companies to understand what the options were and how much it would cost.
We have a number of businesses on our 140-acre site, some of which are our tenants and others are run directly by us. On a busy day, around 1,000 vehicles can park here, with customers often moving between several businesses during one visit. We were aware there was potential for quite a lot of pushback from customers and tenants if we didn’t get this right.
Georgia and the team have provided a personal service, configuring the system to work for our different users. They have worked with us to adapt the system over the past eight months so that it works for us as landlords and also for the various businesses. They have given us different options for the review process.
It created extra work for us, particularly during the initial set-up and first few months while customers became used to entering their details, but it is now settling down. As a result, we have a much safer car park, many more spaces available for our customers and no overnight parking.
Georgia, Diana, Veerjet and the team continue to provide excellent support and we are pleased that we chose Euro Parking Services.”
